Senior Full Stack Developer, Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to innovative technology that enables the creation of interactive 3D models using smartphone cameras, featuring precise measurements and advanced design capabilities.

• Design and implement user-friendly, high-performance back-end and front-end solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and refine requirements.

• Assess technical strategies, discuss trade-offs, and propose solutions for intricate challenges.

• Create and enhance full-stack services, applications, and tools utilizing Ruby on Rails and React.

• Improve application performance and scalability.

• Define, develop, and launch new features in partnership with product managers and technical specialists.

• Build and integrate both back-end and front-end components.

• Guarantee seamless interaction between Ruby on Rails services and React applications.

• Recognize opportunities for process improvements, incorporate feedback from stakeholders, and adopt best practices to enhance system efficiency and team productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying web applications.

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in constructing RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Capability to design efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces for both internal and external usage.

• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Proficiency in cloud environments such as AWS and Google Cloud.

• Experience in developing scalable applications that support complex workflows.

• History of building and nurturing products from initial launch to maturity.

• Demonstrated ability to take features from concept through planning, development, testing, and final delivery.

• Leadership experience guiding engineering teams.

• Experience in an engineering-focused organization.

• Cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal teams.

• React Native mobile experience is a plus.
