Senior Full Stack Developer, Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Work in partnership with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to synchronize project objectives and enhance requirements.

• Assess technical strategies, deliberate on trade-offs, and propose solutions for intricate challenges.

• Create and enhance full-stack services, applications, and tools utilizing Ruby on Rails and React.

• Improve application performance and scalability.

• Define, develop, and launch features in collaboration with product managers and technical specialists.

• Design and integrate back-end and front-end components.

• Ensure smooth interaction between Ruby on Rails services and React applications.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and apply best practices to boost system efficiency and team productivity.

• Construct an interactive 3D-modeling product leveraging patented smartphone-camera technology, precise measurements, and advanced design capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying web applications.

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in developing RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Ability to create efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces for both internal and external use.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.

• Experience in constructing scalable applications that handle complex workflows.

• Background in developing and nurturing products from their initial launch to maturity.

• Experience guiding features from concept through planning, development, testing, and delivery.

• Leadership experience in mentoring engineers and addressing complex problems.

• Background in an engineering-focused organization with collective accountability for results.

• Experience collaborating across functions with Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal teams.

• Familiarity with React Native for mobile applications is a plus.
