Senior Full Stack Developer, Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to align on objectives, gather and refine requirements, and ensure smooth execution.

• Assess technical strategies, discuss tradeoffs, and propose optimal solutions for complex issues.

• Create and enhance full-stack services, applications, and tools utilizing Ruby on Rails and React.

• Optimize performance and scalability of implementations.

• Collaborate with product managers and technical experts to define, develop, and launch new features.

• Develop and integrate both back-end and front-end components.

• Guarantee seamless interaction between Ruby on Rails services and React applications.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and integrate stakeholder feedback.

• Implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and team productivity.

• Create high-performing solutions for a patented product that generates interactive 3D models from smartphone camera images.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in designing, building, and deploying web applications.

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in constructing RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Ability to design efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.

• Experience in developing scalable applications that support complex workflows.

• Proven experience in building and nurturing products from initial launch to maturity.

• Technical leadership experience guiding features from concept through planning, development, testing, and delivery.

• Leadership experience in guiding engineering teams.

• Experience in an engineering-driven organization.

• Cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal teams.

• Experience with React Native for mobile applications is a plus.
