Senior Full Stack Developer – React, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript, encompassing both React frontend and Node.js backend services.

• Construct and enhance cloud-native, serverless applications leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and AWS CDK.

• Create modern React user interfaces by employing established frontend patterns and component libraries.

• Design effective DynamoDB data models utilizing Single-Table Design and optimized access patterns.

• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs adhering to OpenAPI specifications and implement schema validation using Zod.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that aligns with established engineering standards and best practices.

• Produce comprehensive unit tests while supporting automated API and end-to-end testing initiatives when necessary.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards for quality, performance, maintainability, and security.

• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and continually enhance application reliability.

• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Take ownership of solutions from implementation through deployment and production support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Developer or Software Engineer.

• Strong experience in developing production applications using TypeScript across both frontend and backend.

• Extensive experience in building modern web applications with React.

• Proficient in backend development using Node.js.

• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs utilizing OpenAPI.

• Familiarity with implementing schema validation using Zod or similar libraries.

• Experience in building serverless applications employing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.

• Strong understanding of DynamoDB Single-Table Design and access-pattern modeling.

• Experience in provisioning infrastructure using AWS CDK or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools.

• Experience in writing automated unit tests using Vitest or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with automated testing using Playwright, Postman, or similar tools.

• Experience with TanStack Router/Query, Mantine UI, Zustand, or similar libraries.

• Understanding of secure coding practices involving PII/PCI.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively contribute within Agile teams.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
