Senior Full Stack Developer, Python, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on both the Angular frontend and Python backend of the primary product.

• Assume responsibility for features from inception to completion, including architecture, design, deployment, and support.

• Work together with product owners, designers, and engineers to develop high-quality software.

• Facilitate task planning, estimation, and prioritization within the team.

• Lead and engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.

• Participate in pair programming to address complex issues and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues.

• Actively engage in discussions regarding architecture and strategic decisions with team members.

• Assist with incident response efforts in accordance with the Incident Response Policy.

• Take charge of technical decisions and influence how the cross-functional delivery team constructs and delivers software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience with either Angular or Python, alongside substantial experience in the other technology.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing REST APIs for contemporary web applications.

• Strong, current knowledge of the latest Angular versions and modern Python frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.

• Proficient in Git, with substantial experience in CI/CD pipelines.

• A practical approach to problem-solving and delivery, balancing technical aspects with customer needs for swift feature deployment.

• Strong sense of ownership, utilizing initiative to guide decisions and recognizing when to seek assistance.

• Experience working within a cross-functional team, with the ability to quickly forge relationships across different disciplines.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in live environments.

• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience in mentoring or facilitating the development of junior developers.

• Knowledge of tools such as NgRx, RxJS, or Ionic.

• Exposure to SOX control requirements within a regulated setting.
