Senior Full-Stack Developer, PHP/Laravel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create a legal tech platform tailored for e-commerce enterprises.

• Digitally map and streamline legal workflows.

• Develop technical concepts, solution architectures, data models, and user interfaces.

• Assess the effort required for features and projects.

• Oversee projects from initial concept through to launch.

• Decompose and prioritize tasks, monitor progress, make technical decisions, and eliminate obstacles.

• Offer technical mentorship to fellow developers via specifications, collaboration, and code reviews for both backend and frontend.

• Document architecture and technical choices, and disseminate knowledge within the team.

• Regularly update the Team Lead, Product Owner, and stakeholders on status, risks, and forthcoming steps.

• Build full-stack applications utilizing Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, Flux UI, and Tailwind CSS.

• Independently handle smaller projects while contributing to larger project teams.

• Assess, implement, and document integrations with partner and third-party systems.

• Influence architecture, development standards, and tools.

• Investigate new technologies, frameworks, and potential applications of AI.

• Create interfaces and plugins for e-commerce platforms, along with integrating partner systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience working with PHP and Laravel.

• Proven experience in developing web applications across the full stack.

• Frontend expertise, preferably with Livewire, Alpine.js, Flux UI, and Tailwind CSS.

• Experience in developing technical concepts and overseeing their implementation.

• Background in leading project teams technically or in a similar responsible role.

• Hands-on experience with conducting code reviews for both backend and frontend.

• Proficient in PHPUnit or Pest.

• Familiarity with testing strategies in larger codebases.

• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and API design.

• Experience in agile teams, ideally utilizing Scrum methodology.

• DevOps experience with cloud systems, PaaS platforms, containers, CI/CD, or Linux server management is advantageous.

• Background in e-commerce platforms and developing plugins or applications is a plus.

• A keen eye for user experience and experience in designing intuitive interfaces is a plus.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, queues, or asynchronous processing is a plus.

• Experience incorporating LLM APIs into product features is a plus.

• A strong sense of accountability for project outcomes.

• Systems thinking proficiency.

• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A pragmatic, solution-focused approach.

• Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing through reviews, collaboration, and documentation.

• Confident use and objective assessment of AI tools in everyday development.
