Senior Full-Stack Developer, PHP/Laravel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create a legal-tech platform that digitizes and streamlines legal processes for e-commerce companies.

• Assess requirements and design solution architectures.

• Define data models and interfaces, while estimating project efforts.

• Oversee projects from initial conception to go-live.

• Decompose and prioritize tasks, track progress, make technical decisions, and eliminate obstacles.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to fellow developers through mentorship, pairing, and code evaluations.

• Document architecture and technical decisions, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.

• Regularly update the Team Lead, Product Owner, and stakeholders on project status, risks, and upcoming steps.

• Build full-stack applications utilizing Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, Flux UI, and Tailwind CSS.

• Independently manage smaller projects while collaborating on larger projects within a team.

• Assess, implement, and document integrations with partner and third-party systems.

• Contribute to shaping architecture, development standards, and tools.

• Investigate new technologies, frameworks, and potential AI applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.

• Proven experience in developing web applications across the entire stack.

• Front-end experience, preferably with Livewire, Alpine.js, Flux UI, and Tailwind CSS.

• Experience in developing technical concepts and ensuring their implementation.

• Background in providing technical leadership for a project team or similar responsibilities.

• Hands-on experience with conducting code reviews for both backend and frontend code.

• Proficient in PHPUnit or Pest.

• Experience in developing and applying testing strategies within larger codebases.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and API design.

• Experience working in agile teams, preferably with Scrum methodology.

• Excellent structured communication skills, with the ability to share knowledge, think systemically, and work pragmatically.

• Familiarity with using AI tools in daily development tasks.

• Experience in DevOps, e-commerce platforms, UX, event-driven architectures, queues, asynchronous processing, and LLM APIs is considered a plus.
