Senior Full-Stack Developer, Java/Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, maintain, and improve contemporary web applications utilizing the latest versions of Angular.

• Engage in upgrading and modernizing current Angular applications.

• Implement real-time data functionalities using ag-Grid or comparable technologies.

• Design, develop, and support Java-based microservices utilizing Spring Boot or similar frameworks.

• Connect front-end applications with backend services through RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Collaborate with backend developers, architects, UX designers, and product owners.

• Enhance applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness in data-intensive settings.

• Produce clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code adhering to software engineering best practices.

• Diagnose application performance issues, real-time data rendering, and UI responsiveness challenges.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools for UX design, speeding up development, code generation and refactoring, and addressing security vulnerabilities.

• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Angular.

• Proven experience in developing modern web applications with the latest Angular versions.

• Practical experience with real-time data solutions using ag-Grid or similar technologies.

• Strong Java development background with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for UX design, template generation, coding, refactoring, and vulnerability remediation.

• Understanding of responsive and adaptive web design principles.

• Proficient with Git or other version control systems.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Spanish proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Experience with Angular state management libraries such as NgRx or Akita is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

• Knowledge of D3.js or Chart.js is beneficial.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.

• Background in financial services or other real-time, data-intensive industries is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD is a plus.

• Portuguese language skills are a bonus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
