Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist customer missions by engaging in application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and the research and development of innovative technologies.

• Integrate Education Finance survey data collection, processing, and dissemination into a new system/survey.

• Conceptualize and create new software projects.

• Improve and sustain current software applications.

• Collaborate within a team environment using GitHub.

• Employ agile methodologies for software project development.

• Utilize AWS cloud services and containerization to facilitate cloud migrations.

• Work closely with product owners to comprehend requirements.

• Engage in peer testing and showcase development efforts.

• Create a new processing system and/or ingestion engine to replace or transition the existing education finance survey project.

• Enhance web services and user interfaces for current systems.

• Assist with the conversion from SAS to Python for estimation and dissemination programs.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain a sample generation program from frame data.

• Work with web services, facilitate Oracle migration to PostgreSQL, and manage cloud migrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Proficiency in Python (3+ years).

• Expertise in Angular (3+ years).

• Experience with FastAPI (3+ years).

• Familiarity with Oracle (3+ years).

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL (3+ years).

• Experience in Java Web Services (3+ years).

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes criminal history, education verification, professional certification verification, previous employment verification, and credit history.

• Fingerprinting is required for the Public Trust background investigation.

• C# / WPF (3+ years) experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Strong communication skills are essential.

• Capability to mentor junior developers as necessary.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or higher is preferred.
