Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance a live, customer-facing production platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing Node.js/NestJS.

• Contribute to frontend development based on Angular when necessary.

• Construct and refine REST APIs while maintaining API documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Provide support for production systems operating on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring their reliability, stability, and availability.

• Manage production deployments via established CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies.

• Diagnose production incidents, explore root causes, and implement suitable solutions.

• Work with Docker-based containerized applications and cloud-hosted services.

• Adhere to the established development, staging, and production release protocols.

• Collaborate through code reviews and comply with existing engineering standards and deployment patterns.

• Independently design, document, and deliver technical solutions.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of practical experience in software development.

• 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js and/or NestJS.

• 3+ years of experience working with Angular.

• 1.5+ years of experience using React.

• 4+ years of experience in designing and developing REST APIs.

• 3+ years of experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• 2+ years of practical DevOps experience supporting live production environments, encompassing CI/CD pipelines, production deployments, monitoring, incident resolution, and operational support.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience managing customer-facing production workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, or equivalent.

• Experience working with automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Proficient in producing and maintaining Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

• Experience in microservices-based architectures.

• Ability to design technical solutions and APIs independently.

• Capacity to work independently while collaborating within an established engineering team.

• 1+ year of experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, MCP, LLM APIs, or similar.

• 1+ year of experience with microservices architecture (preferred).
