Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

• Collaborate closely with the development team and organizational leaders to provide exceptional website and program experiences.

• Spearhead the development of high-quality products, ensuring projects are completed within defined scope and timelines.

• Supervise hands-on development utilizing established programming languages, technical specifications, and methodologies.

• Test, assess, and troubleshoot solutions across a variety of environments.

• Offer expert advice on intricate technical challenges and system performance.

• Lead production support initiatives and proactively address potential issues.

• Develop Proof-of-Concepts to explore innovative project methodologies.

• Suggest state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and practices.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with business goals.

• Share expertise and foster continuous improvement and accountability.

• Advocate for and present strategic technical decisions.

• Implement emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Drive initiatives that promote high-quality user experiences and development standards.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.

• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience.

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails is essential.

• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and cross-browser layout skills, along with knowledge of the complete web technology stack.

• Experience in mobile site/application development and/or responsive web development.

• A minimum of 3 years of eCommerce experience.

• Knowledge of AngularJS, React, or a lightweight front-end framework.

• Understanding of advanced SQL queries.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize critical initiatives, and adhere to deadlines.

• Capability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across departments.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once while meeting development timelines.
