Senior Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop products from start to finish in collaboration with clients, encompassing architecture, data models, integrations, and final interfaces.

• Collaborate within lean teams, generally beginning with 2–3 members and expanding as projects progress.

• Maintain direct engagement with clients, ensuring communication is not filtered through managers or leads.

• Convert vague business requirements into precise, actionable technical plans.

• Articulate and justify the reasoning behind technical choices.

• Provide proactive, transparent updates and assertively address scope when necessary.

• Inquire early to avert technical challenges from evolving into trust issues with clients.

• Utilize AI tools such as Claude and Claude Design to enhance daily productivity.

• Establish context, guidelines, and testing protocols that allow both AI agents and humans to operate effectively.

• Collaborate with clients and actively influence product decisions.

• Consistently communicate Katapult’s value to project stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, adequate for direct discussions about products and architecture with clients based in the US.

• Strong full-stack development experience, covering both backend and frontend.

• Experience in mobile or micro-frontend development is advantageous.

• Proven ability to rapidly transform ambiguous product discussions into functional architecture.

• Experience considering scalability, access control, and integrations from the outset.

• Senior-level expertise, including the capacity to manage an engagement independently when necessary.

• A history of both successes and lessons learned in previous roles.

• Prior experience collaborating directly with clients or business stakeholders.

• Background in startups or product consulting is highly suitable.

• Comfortable integrating AI tools into daily workflows as a fundamental element.

• Ability to organize work and critically evaluate output from AI agents.
