Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve comprehensive functionality for platforms utilizing Open WebUI.

• Create and manage APIs in Python/FastAPI, employing SQLAlchemy, migrations, and various integrations.

• Develop interfaces using Svelte/SvelteKit and React with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.

• Engage with RAG pipelines, focusing on document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, and reranking.

• Construct custom tools, functions, and pipelines to coordinate model calls, function executions, and integrations.

• Provision and manage applications on Azure, encompassing App Service, AKS, Container Apps, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and PostgreSQL.

• Streamline builds, testing, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and Docker.

• Oversee observability, costs, and security, including logs, metrics, access control, secrets management, and token limits.

• Take part in architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and enhance the team’s technical quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend development with Python, ideally FastAPI; experience with Flask or Django will also be considered.

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming.

• Practical experience with Svelte/SvelteKit or React and TypeScript; solid expertise in one with a willingness to learn the other is acceptable.

• Demonstrated experience deploying applications in a production environment on Azure, including compute, basic networking, storage, managed databases, and secrets management.

• Daily experience with Docker, covering builds, multi-stage builds, and Docker Compose; knowledge of orchestration is a plus.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, relational modeling, ORM (SQLAlchemy), and SQL.

• Understanding of REST, authentication methods (JWT, OAuth2/SSO), WebSockets, and third-party API utilization.

• Experience with Git, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

• Technical proficiency in English for reading documentation and analyzing open-source project source code.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Open WebUI, Ollama, LiteLLM, or similar technologies; RAG; vector databases; Azure OpenAI; Azure AI Search; Azure AI Foundry; LangChain; LlamaIndex; Semantic Kernel; MCP; Kubernetes/AKS; Terraform; Bicep; Redis; queues; large-scale asynchronous processing; contributions to open-source initiatives; consulting or projects involving multiple clients.
