Senior Full-Stack Developer Analyst, Backend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop RESTful backend APIs and services for B2B e-commerce and satellite applications.

• Engage in decoupling the SAP Commerce monolith and legacy systems by extracting domains into Java/Spring Boot microservices.

• Model business domains, including catalog, pricing, orders, quotes, and ERP integrations.

• Create integrations with SAP Commerce, SAP ERPs, API Gateway, and other enterprise systems.

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security, covering OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Keycloak.

• Ensure the execution of automated unit and integration testing, utilizing Testcontainers with databases.

• Collaborate with frontend, SAP, UX/UI, and business teams in an agile Scrum/Kanban setting.

• Participate in refinement sessions, planning meetings, and reviews.

• Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation in both Portuguese and English.

• Provide knowledge transfer to team members.

• Act as the backend technical reference within the squad and assist in architectural decisions alongside the Solution Architect.

• Rebuild the backend layer of a global cloud-based B2B e-commerce platform, ensuring availability, scalability, performance, security, and observability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Java in enterprise web applications.

• Proven expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem (Web, Data, Validation, Actuator, and Spring Security).

• Familiarity with REST APIs (resource modeling, pagination, error handling, and versioning).

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Proficient in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of non-relational databases, ideally MongoDB.

• Understanding of enterprise integrations with SAP ERPs and other backend systems.

• Experience utilizing HTTP clients such as Spring Cloud OpenFeign or a similar alternative.

• Practical experience with automated unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, or comparable tools.

• Integration testing with Spring Boot Test and Testcontainers, including MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.

• Capability to run and debug services in containerized environments, with daily usage of Docker.

• Knowledge of the Grafana Stack for log and metrics visualization.

• Senior-level profile, equipped to serve as the backend technical reference and assist in architectural decisions.

• Strong communication skills to comprehend business needs, translate requests into technical requirements, and articulate technical decisions.

• Advanced English proficiency for reading and writing technical documentation and participating in international meetings.

• Experience collaborating in an agile environment, including pair programming and code reviews.

• Commitment to governance, documentation, and quality practices.

• Experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) on-premises or SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) is advantageous.

• Background in complex B2B e-commerce, preferably in the industrial sector, is a plus.
