Senior Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete technical execution of small to medium-sized projects from gathering requirements and technical design through to implementation, testing, and production release.

• Transform product objectives into scalable frontend architectural decisions.

• Contribute to applications based on React and Electron, shared libraries, platform capabilities, and overall system design.

• Recognize risks, validate assumptions, and actively mitigate potential solutions.

• Decrease technical debt, enhance test coverage, and uphold code quality and performance.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend engineers on trade-offs, API agreements, performance, reliability, and security.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.

• Participate in observability, incident response, and post-mortem analyses.

• Guide engineers through code reviews, technical advice, and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure technical choices align with business priorities and customer impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing modern web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript.

• 3+ years of experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.

• Proven experience leading the technical implementation of production features from start to finish.

• Strong grasp of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.

• Experience in consuming and influencing RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting complex production issues.

• Experience in writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Experience in building or maintaining Electron applications is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of idiomatic TypeScript.

• Familiarity with tools such as Storybook, Sentry, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

• Experience in performance benchmarking and optimization.

• Understanding of frontend systems that are deployed, monitored, and operated in production environments.

• Experience in creating secure payment or form-heavy processes, including PCI-sensitive UIs and hosted payment iframes like Stripe.

• Exposure to server-side rendering concepts.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• Current U.S. work authorization status required in the application.
