Senior Frontend Software Engineer, AI Receptionist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to conceptualize and implement new capabilities for the AI Receptionist.

• Develop modern, responsive, and highly interactive web applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Design user-friendly experiences for configuring conversational AI, managing knowledge sources, testing AI behavior, and deploying voice agents.

• Create reusable UI components and frontend infrastructure that enhance consistency, scalability, and engineering efficiency.

• Connect frontend applications to backend services through REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time streaming technologies.

• Work closely with AI and ML engineers to bring LLM-powered features to life through seamless user experiences.

• Enhance application performance, accessibility, reliability, and responsiveness for large-scale enterprise deployments.

• Lead frontend architecture decisions and set engineering best practices.

• Boost developer productivity by implementing testing, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and automation.

• Provide mentorship to engineers via technical leadership, design reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• Extensive knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Proven experience in building complex, production-level web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, and contemporary build systems.

• Experience in integrating with backend services via REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, or streaming protocols.

• Familiarity with frontend tooling such as Vite, Webpack, Node.js, and modern testing frameworks.

• Strong grasp of application performance optimization, observability, and debugging techniques.

• Experience working closely with Product and Design teams to create refined enterprise applications.

• Capacity to influence technical direction while delivering high-quality production code.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
