Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance asynchronous REST/WebSocket APIs in Python utilizing FastAPI or comparable frameworks, along with dependency injection, type hints, and a clean vertical-slice architecture.

• Execute sequential, concurrent, and handoff multi-agent workflows among specialized LLM agents.

• Integrate various LLM providers behind a provider-agnostic layer to facilitate A/B testing and cost-efficient routing.

• Develop and sustain RAG pipelines using vector storage solutions such as pgvector, Chroma, or managed vector search services.

• Create schemas and evolve data models utilizing SQLAlchemy/SQLModel-style ORM and migrations.

• Implement services with structured logging, distributed tracing, and cost/latency metrics.

• Maintain comprehensive CI/CD ownership, encompassing linting, type-checking, testing, packaging, and deployment.

• Advocate for AI throughout the delivery lifecycle and establish guidelines for code review, provenance, licensing, and customer-data usage.

• Transform ideas from concept to production with accountability for architecture and results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production backend systems in Python, including substantial async I/O expertise.

• Practical experience in designing and scaling REST or asynchronous APIs, emphasizing dependency injection and clean service architecture.

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, or similar) and embedding AI capabilities into backend systems from the outset.

• Demonstrated experience with vector databases and RAG-style retrieval architectures.

• Strong relational database competencies, including schema design, query optimization, and migration practices.

• Proficiency in AI-augmented delivery across the development lifecycle, encompassing model selection, review of AI-generated code, and establishment of guidelines.

• Familiarity with provenance and licensing checks, as well as boundaries for customer data prompts.

• Complete CI/CD ownership, from building and testing to packaging and deployment.

• Proactive, driven attitude; comfortable navigating ambiguity, rapid iteration, and resolving issues independently.

• Bonus: experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar) and LLM cost/observability tools.
