Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain web applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend teams, and other developers to transform requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Contribute to the enhancement of frontend architecture and development methodologies.

• Ensure that applications are fast, responsive, accessible, and easy to manage.

• Utilize UI libraries and design systems to ensure consistent user experiences.

• Conduct code reviews and disseminate knowledge and best practices among the team.

• Engage in creating 3D visualizations and interactive experiences directly within the browser.

• Develop features centered around interactive maps and geospatial data.

• Assume responsibility for features from conception through to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Frontend Development.

• Proficient experience with React.

• In-depth knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Experience with large or intricate web applications.

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and collaborating with backend services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser behavior.

• Proficient with Git and contemporary development workflows.

• Capable of working independently, making technical decisions, and taking ownership of your work.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• English Level: Fluent.

• All applicants must reside in Portugal or Brazil.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Material UI or other UI/component libraries.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks.

• Nice to have: Experience with Three.js, WebGL, or other technologies for creating 3D experiences in the browser.

• Nice to have: Experience with Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenLayers, or similar mapping technologies.

• Nice to have: Experience in building applications that handle large datasets or complex visualizations.

• Nice to have: Understanding of frontend performance optimization.

• Nice to have: Experience with automated testing.

• Nice to have: Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
