Senior Front End Engineer – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product and Planners to develop solutions for various challenges.

• Design, construct, and test code utilizing Golang and React, deployed on AWS.

• Estimate tasks within a ScrumBan framework.

• Regularly commit code to Git/Bitbucket in a mainline development setting.

• Write comprehensive tests.

• Pair program with fellow developers as needed.

• Engage in daily standup meetings.

• Take part in weekly “Tech Stack Tuesdays” to enhance development skills and techniques.

• Join bi-weekly “Fast Fridays” aimed at improving app performance.

• Participate in bi-annual 3-day Hackathons.

• Commit to continuous learning and personal development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and thriving in a startup environment where change is prevalent.

• 5-10+ years of experience in full stack web development or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience with React 16 or higher.

• Proficient with relational databases, preferably MySQL.

• Experience with React.

• Familiarity with AWS services, including ECS, EC2, RDS, and S3.

• Understanding of the REST architectural style.

• Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles.

• Proficient in using Git and Bitbucket.

• Experience with frontend toolchains such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.

• Familiarity with frontend testing tools and frameworks like Mocha/Chai, BrowserStack, and Puppeteer.

• Experience with automated testing methods, including unit, integration, regression, and performance testing.

• Knowledge of responsive design and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

• Familiarity with Linux.

• Understanding of Docker.

• Familiarity with FinTech APIs, including Plaid, Finicity, Yodlee, APEX, and Orion.
