Frontend Engineer – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the chargecloud website utilizing React and Next.js.

• Effectively optimize the existing architecture.

• Create new pages, modules, and reusable components.

• Integrate Storyblok with the Next.js frontend.

• Build Storyblok components, content structures, and fields.

• Convert approved UX/UI designs into responsive front ends that accommodate various screen sizes, states, interactions, and language versions.

• Connect APIs and external services.

• Oversee performance, technical SEO, and accessibility.

• Ensure quality through technical testing, code reviews, and clean releases.

• Collaborate with the online marketing team and agencies to manage a feasible technical backlog.

• Provide realistic effort estimates and identify risks, technical opportunities, and limitations early on.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance development, testing, and documentation efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a similar technical qualification.

• Experience in professional front-end development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Practical experience with Storyblok, including the implementation of components, content structures, and fields.

• Familiarity with Node.js, npm, and API integrations.

• Capability to translate UX/UI designs into responsive, maintainable, and reusable front ends.

• Knowledge of performance, accessibility, and technical SEO.

• Experience with Git/GitHub, pull requests, structured testing, and release processes.

• Ability to work independently in a structured and pragmatic manner.

• Skill in clearly explaining technical topics and collaborating with internal teams and agencies.

• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge of German is a plus.
