Senior Software Engineer, Front End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain user-friendly and reliable interfaces for mpathic’s web applications.

• Create interfaces that simplify complex data, AI outputs, and workflows, making them clear and actionable.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and supporting services.

• Develop wireframes and actively participate in product and interaction design efforts.

• Convert user requirements into effective and engaging interfaces.

• Test and enhance applications for optimal performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and usability across various devices and environments.

• Construct reusable and scalable frontend components while adhering to consistent patterns and standards.

• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.

• Work collaboratively across engineering, product, AI, and other teams from early concepts through to implementation and production.

• Diagnose and resolve complex frontend issues while enhancing application performance, architecture, and user experience.

• Research and assess emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in frontend development.

• Extensive knowledge of React and its ecosystem, including Redux and React Query.

• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Familiarity with CSS-in-JS frameworks such as Emotion or Styled Components.

• Experience in developing and optimizing data-intensive web applications that include charts, graphs, complex workflows, and real-time updates.

• Solid understanding of state management, reusable component architecture, component libraries, and frontend performance enhancement.

• Experience with contemporary styling frameworks and methodologies such as Tailwind, MUI, CSS Modules, or similar technologies.

• Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles and current frontend development standards.

• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

• Ability to showcase examples of previous work that reflect frontend engineering and product development experience.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to independently manage tasks while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams.

• Enthusiasm for emerging frontend technologies and a pragmatic approach to evaluating new tools and methodologies.
