Senior Front End Developer, 3 months contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Horizontal Digital and/or client and project management teams, technical leads, architects, developers, and designers to create enterprise solutions using Next.js and React.

• Implement solutions that encompass data handling, display, information architecture, and integrations with third-party platforms.

• Develop platform-specific solutions and SDKs utilizing Next.js and React, particularly for Sitecore, Drupal, and potentially Contentful and Vercel.

• Apply project specifications by leveraging the core functionalities of Next.js and React, along with community modules and custom-developed components.

• Identify and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and processes to improve the delivery of innovative customer solutions.

• Deliver top-notch technical solutions within deadlines and budget constraints.

• Drive the creation of innovative and effective user experiences through technology.

• Advocate for common standards and best practices throughout the front-end team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) with experience in Agile or iterative methodologies.

• Proficiency in the "back end of the front end," particularly in application and business logic, API and service integration, and collaborating with user interface developers.

• Advanced skills in JavaScript, React (or other comparable libraries/frameworks), Node, and front-end application development.

• Strong knowledge of front-end tooling and package management (Webpack, npm, Gulp, etc.).

• Competency in other front-end technologies including HTML and CSS.

• Ability to create semantic and accessible applications and presentations.

• Familiarity with WCAG 2.x AA guidelines and their implementation.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and standard industry practices for branching and merging.

• Educational background: B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience.

• A genuine desire and enthusiasm to work in the marketing technology sector.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and organization.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
