This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Create FPGA-based prototypes to facilitate early ASIC integration, firmware development, and system validation.

• Construct hardware platforms that enable software and firmware teams to begin development prior to the arrival of first silicon.

• Assist with first-silicon bring-up, debugging, and functional validation.

• Develop automated validation infrastructure for silicon characterization and regression testing.

• Configure and validate digital interfaces, including high-speed Ethernet SerDes, SPI, UART, GPIO, and other peripheral interfaces.

• Create FPGA-based traffic generators, protocol checkers, and test applications for interface validation.

• Troubleshoot issues across RTL, firmware, software, FPGA prototypes, and silicon using both simulation and laboratory instrumentation.

• Collaborate closely with ASIC Design, Verification, Firmware, Software, Systems, and DFT teams to expedite product development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in FPGA development utilizing Verilog/SystemVerilog and AMD/Xilinx FPGA tools.

• In-depth understanding of ASIC development and digital system architecture.

• Proven experience with FPGA prototyping for ASIC development.

• Familiarity with firmware/software enablement and hardware bring-up processes.

• Excellent hardware debugging skills using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.

• Proficient in Python and scripting for automation and test infrastructure purposes.
