This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead the annual budgeting process along with quarterly and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department leaders.
• Develop and sustain financial models for profit and loss, headcount, operational expenses, and cash flow.
• Monitor discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures, providing necessary explanations.
• Serve as the financial liaison for Sales, Operations, and Product teams.
• Enhance visibility into sales pipeline conversion rates, coverage, and weighted forecasts.
• Assess the profitability of channels and partners, along with margins, incentive costs, and returns.
• Prepare management reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for the board and investors.
• Develop essential SaaS metrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), gross margin, and burn multiple.
• Integrate data from CRM, billing, and finance systems for both ongoing and ad hoc analyses.
• Provide support for strategic initiatives like pricing adjustments and new market entry.
• Enhance financial planning and analysis tools and automate reporting processes.
• Coordinate with the Controller on actuals compared to forecasts.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in finance.
• Significant exposure to B2B commercial settings.
• Practical experience in planning, budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Proven history of collaboration with commercial teams.
• Capability to translate numerical data into narratives and vice versa.
• Direct and constructive communication approach.
• Comfortable providing constructive feedback to stakeholders when supported by data.
• A curious mindset with the ability to delve into the reasons behind financial outcomes.
• Proficient Excel skills.
• Authentic business insight.
• Experience in SaaS or software industries is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• CIMA or ACCA certification, or active pursuit of one, is a plus.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
• A background in SaaS or software enterprises is advantageous.
