Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +34 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of financial forecasts, yearly budgets, and long-term strategic initiatives.

• Perform in-depth variance analyses and offer insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Develop and sustain sophisticated financial models to assess business scenarios, investments, and growth prospects.

• Collaborate with department heads to facilitate strategic planning and informed decision-making processes.

• Prepare and present executive-level reporting packages.

• Recognize emerging trends, risks, and opportunities, and suggest actions to enhance business performance.

• Utilize financial data, technology, and reporting tools to improve visibility into crucial business drivers.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial systems, reporting platforms, and analytical tools.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A processes.

• Question assumptions, discover innovative solutions, and help the organization adapt to future business requirements.

• Guide and develop junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar financial planning position.

• Preferred familiarity with Workday, Adaptive Planning, and Snowflake.

• Experience in healthcare technology is highly preferred.

• Background in a private equity-backed or rapidly growing environment is advantageous, including knowledge of board and sponsor reporting, lender covenants, and M&A integration.

• Demonstrated experience in developing advanced financial models, forecasts, and business analyses.

• Strong skills in analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management.

• Proficient with financial systems, reporting tools, and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.

• Proven ability to convert complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
