Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Strategic Accounts

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customer engineering teams as a trusted technical advisor.

• Drive technical discovery and develop solutions for potential and existing clients.

• Manage the complete technical implementation of Deepgram’s voice AI platform, from scoping and architecture to go-live and optimization.

• Customize and configure the platform for menu structures, ordering processes, POS integrations, edge cases, and operational needs.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during live deployments.

• Act as a point of escalation for intricate technical challenges.

• Document deployment patterns into tools, playbooks, reference architectures, and reusable components.

• Convert deployment challenges into actionable requirements for product and engineering teams.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, customer engineering teams, and business leaders.

• Recognize patterns across deployments and develop systems that facilitate quicker, more reliable deployment across restaurant fleets.

• Strong software engineering capabilities.

• Proficiency in working with APIs, SDKs, webhooks, cloud infrastructure, and customer technology stacks.

• Experience utilizing AI coding tools to accelerate processes and enhance productivity.

• Deep dedication to ensuring customers’ technical success.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt promptly and maintain effectiveness amidst uncertainty.

• Capacity to establish credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Composed under pressure and consistently reliable.

• Familiarity with voice AI, speech-to-text, NLP, or conversational AI systems.

• Previous experience in an early-stage startup or founder-led environment.

• History of working embedded within a large enterprise customer’s product deployment.
