This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
β’ Act as the main technical authority for post-sales clients, providing guidance on deployment architecture, environment design, and the integration of Coder across human and AI development workflows.
β’ Manage onboarding processes from start to finish, transitioning customers from contract signing to effective utilization.
β’ Lead initiatives to address architecture, deployment, or organizational challenges impacting customer well-being or growth.
β’ Assist clients in implementing necessary technical and organizational modifications for scalable agentic development.
β’ Create and document repeatable delivery models for onboarding, architecture, and adoption.
β’ Develop and propose reference architectures tailored to customer cloud settings, security requirements, and organizational limitations.
β’ Convert customer environment complexities into actionable guidance on networking, ingress, identity, and infrastructure configurations.
β’ Foresee technical and operational risks, escalate concerns, and monitor them until resolved.
β’ Contribute to technical documentation, architecture guides, how-to resources, and statements of work.
β’ Gather structured product feedback and serve as an advocate with engineering and product teams for enhancements to the roadmap and usability.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Platform Engineering, or a similar post-sales technical position.
β’ Proven experience in guiding enterprise clients through intricate technical deployments.
β’ Practical experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
β’ More than 2 years of experience deploying or managing AI coding agents in production or near-production settings.
β’ Capability to clarify the differences between workspace-local agent tools and centralized agentic harnesses to security or compliance stakeholders.
β’ Over 2 years of production Kubernetes experience, encompassing cluster design, workload scheduling, networking, storage, and lifecycle management.
β’ More than 2 years of experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code technologies.
β’ Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and cloud-native networking, including ingress controllers, proxies, load balancers, and DNS.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and DevOps methodologies.
β’ Working understanding of cloud security and identity management, including IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and compliance controls.
β’ Knowledge of observability practices such as logging, metrics, and tracing.
β’ Ability to create repeatable delivery models.
β’ Comfort in supporting organizational and workflow changes alongside technical transformations.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ High level of customer empathy.
