Senior Forensic Engineer – Civil, Structural

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess damage to existing buildings, structures, and building envelopes

• Manage projects and act as the primary contact

• Organize site visits, allocate resources, and establish timelines

• Conduct site assessments and testing across residential, commercial, and industrial properties

• Execute laboratory examinations to gather data

• Generate reports that integrate inspection, testing, and analytical data to determine root causes and suggest repair or replacement solutions

• Facilitate regional growth through recruiting and business development efforts

• Cultivate and sustain client relationships while generating new opportunities

• Collaborate with business development teams at conferences and in client outreach initiatives

• Review and interpret applicable building codes

• Supervise the creation of repair or replacement design scopes

• Make independent decisions regarding analysis and testing techniques and resource distribution

• Execute additional responsibilities as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license

• Over 10 years of experience in forensic engineering

• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical reports on inspection findings

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Openness to travel up to 50%
