Senior Flutter Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop applications that operate across platforms using Flutter for both Android and iOS.

• Convert product specifications and UI designs into fully operational features.

• Produce clean, testable, and maintainable code by adhering to best practices.

• Engage in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster team learning.

• Work alongside UI/UX designers to craft seamless user experiences.

• Integrate applications with backend APIs and services.

• Monitor application performance and address any troubleshooting needs.

• Keep abreast of updates in the Flutter/Dart ecosystem and propose enhancements.

• Take responsibility for features from their initial concept through to deployment.

• Contribute to architectural decision-making processes.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Enhance the adoption of Flutter across various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of comprehensive software development experience.

• At least 2 years of direct experience with Flutter and Dart.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming as well as modern development methodologies.

• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.

• Familiarity with state management solutions such as Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider.

• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and managing asynchronous data flows.

• Understanding of responsive UI principles and mobile design standards.

• Solid knowledge of Git along with CI/CD processes.

• Experience with local storage solutions like Hive or SQLite and performance optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of architectural patterns including MVVM and Clean Architecture.

• Familiarity with Agile practices and collaboration within cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.

• Must reside in Portugal.
