Hardware Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create motor control panels and related systems for conveyor systems and associated equipment within the Material Handling Industry.

• Conduct power feed calculations, develop 480-volt power schematics, 120-volt control schematics, I/O drawings, field device layouts, and design PLCs, panels, as well as overseeing panel commissioning and testing.

• Collaborate with sales engineers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to comprehend project specifications, scope, and design needs.

• Generate comprehensive drawing sets and additional documentation necessary to execute project scope while adhering to specifications, codes, and customer demands.

• Draft specifications for the procurement of materials and equipment.

• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment effectively.

• Evaluate, audit, and test finished motor control panels to ensure robust construction and compliance with design standards and specifications.
