Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, analyze, and provide responses to pharmacy pricing appeals

• Assess and address complaints received from the department of insurance

• Oversee the external-facing email account, offering guidance and answering inquiries

• Engage in external communications with pharmacies and state Departments of Insurance

• Assist with ad hoc data outputs related to claims, pharmacy appeals, and DOI complaints

• Deliver professional insights on complex datasets and compliance assignments/projects

• Carry out appeal reviews and manage external communications

• Support ad hoc automation testing initiatives

• May perform audits to ensure the maintenance of data controls

• Operate independently with minimal technical assistance

• Contribute to the Strategic Optimization Program

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred

• 1+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or highly analytical role

• Background in the healthcare or insurance industry is preferred

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience working in a highly regulated business setting

• Capability to convey analytical results to diverse individuals/groups

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Self-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Innovative mindset with a strong eagerness to learn

• Reliable internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload when working remotely
