This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and enhance the company's financial model, including revenue projections, expense monitoring, cash flow analysis, and runway assessments.
• Create and sustain board reporting packages that encompass operating metrics, financial performance, and pipeline assessments.
• Assist in fundraising efforts by developing investor-quality financial models, conducting scenario analyses, and preparing data rooms.
• Monitor company-wide unit economics, such as CAC, LTV, gross margin by segment, and contribution margin by hospital.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting in collaboration with the Director of Finance.
• Develop and manage financial reporting and analytics using Sigma, encompassing management reports, KPI dashboards, and self-service interfaces.
• Construct EBITDA lift models and frameworks for unit economics aimed at enterprise prospects.
• Create tailored financial proposals for corporate veterinary networks.
• Model enterprise revenue recognition mechanics, including ASC 606 allocation, consumption-based recognition, straight-line amortization, and breakage timing.
• Design pricing scenarios and rebate structures for enterprise negotiations.
• Participate in customer discussions to respond to inquiries regarding incrementality and ROI.
• Evaluate portfolio performance data, including pre-post spend lift, visit frequency, cancellation rates, breakage, and payment capture.
• Report directly to the Director of Finance and collaborate with founders and leaders across Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or a finance role within a SaaS or healthtech organization.
• Proficient in SQL, including the ability to write queries against data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of at least one BI tool: Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Outstanding Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Familiarity with SaaS economics, including ARR, retention, LTV, CAC, and relevant accounting principles.
• Knowledge of or a willingness to learn ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and subscription billing processes.
• Comfortable presenting financial analyses to external stakeholders, including enterprise CFOs and procurement teams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets from various sources.
• Experience with billing and accounting platforms such as Stripe, QuickBooks, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Understanding of SaaS metrics and terminology, including ARR, retention, CAC, LTV, payback, magic number, and the rule of 40.
