Senior Finance Transformation Manager

📋 Description

• Take ownership of essential central financial procedures with precision and efficiency.

• Direct the finance systems strategy, encompassing the assessment, implementation, and enhancement of ERP, planning, reporting, consolidation, and automation tools.

• Discover potential for AI to automate manual tasks in month-end closing, consolidation, accounting, and reconciliation, and spearhead the implementation of solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to create and deploy financial tools.

• Revamp comprehensive workflows from data collection to reporting, AP/AR to closing, and planning to insights.

• Establish governance, controls, and documentation to ensure a reliable and modern finance function.

• Advocate for technology adoption and facilitate communication between technology and finance leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in finance, including senior/managerial roles, with a proven history of managing core finance operations (closing, reporting, forecasting, controls).

• Extensive hands-on experience with finance systems, including ERPs, planning/reporting platforms, consolidation tools, or automation (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or contemporary fintech stacks).

• Experience leading or playing a pivotal role in AI, ML, or automation transformation projects that have replaced manual finance tasks, demonstrating tangible results.

• Strong understanding of process and control excellence, including SOX-related, intercompany, and closing management disciplines.

• Comfortable collaborating with engineering and data teams, translating concepts between finance and technology.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives and drive the adoption of change.

• Background in crypto, fintech, or high-growth environments (a plus).

• Familiarity with AI-native finance tools such as AI agents, finance copilots, or ML-based planning (a plus).

• Proven track record of building or scaling a finance function in a fast-paced organization (a plus).
