Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive financial leadership, guidance, and analysis to the functional management team.

• Act as a member of the strategic leadership team for the function.

• Propel functional metrics, manage costs, and collaborate with finance leadership to meet business objectives and enhance shareholder value.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the business and identify as well as implement process and organizational enhancements.

• Plan and ensure the execution of departmental objectives.

• Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget.

• Review monthly spending to ensure adherence to budgetary goals.

• Examine monthly metrics to confirm that targets are met.

• Conduct financial planning for the function and provide relevant recommendations.

• Lead, plan, and coordinate work teams to efficiently execute financial functions and activities.

• Utilize metrics to monitor performance and manage workload effectively.

• Ensure operational processes and procedures align with established policies.

• Drive essential functional financial metrics.

• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with business allies.

• Engage in cross-functional initiatives aimed at addressing business challenges and boosting competitive edge.

• Facilitate cross-departmental communication with Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.

• Generally report to a Director-level manager.

• This role does not have any direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with experience in financial data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with business and management principles related to strategic planning and resource allocation.

• Proficient project management skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.

• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities, weighing the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.

• Overnight travel may be required, ranging from 5% to 20% of the time.
