Senior Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for management reporting within the Operations directorate, encompassing management accounts, budgets, quarterly forecasts, KPIs, and variance analysis.

• Collaborate with budget holders at all levels, including the Chief Operating Officer.

• Offer financial insights, challenge assumptions, and provide support to senior stakeholders.

• Establish strong relationships throughout the organization as a trusted finance partner.

• Deliver constructive challenges, commercial guidance, and practical solutions.

• Aid in effective decision-making while pinpointing Value for Money opportunities and savings.

• Lead and mentor a team of three colleagues, including an Apprentice.

• Work alongside Finance team members to enhance finance processes and systems.

• Act as deputy for the Head of Business Partnering when necessary.

• Authorize reconciliation tasks.

• Maintain ongoing communication with external auditors throughout the year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a qualified accountant.

• Extensive experience in management accounting, month-end and year-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and finance business partnering.

• Strongly customer-focused approach to Finance Business Partnering.

• Confident in communication and presentation skills, with the capability to influence decision-making.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

• Proven leadership and team management abilities.

• Experience thriving in a dynamic environment.

• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

• Capacity to identify, lead, and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.

• Strong commercial awareness and a genuine commitment to achieving value for money.
