Senior Finance Analyst, APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for finance operations throughout the APAC region, with an initial emphasis on Vietnam and Indonesia.

• Oversee accounting, invoicing, settlement, reconciliation, banking, and payment processes.

• Evaluate and enhance local accounting functions in collaboration with external providers.

• Assist in the selection, negotiation, onboarding, and transition processes of accounting providers.

• Manage local banking relationships and financing activities for entities.

• Coordinate documentation, banking operations, regulatory registrations, and reporting tasks.

• Aid in monthly financial reporting and P&L analysis across the APAC region.

• Identify trends, variances, and risks, providing valuable insights to management and business teams.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.

• Serve as the Finance point of contact for APAC partners.

• Handle complex or urgent cases, ensuring timely resolution in coordination with internal teams.

• Enhance billing, reconciliation, and payment workflows, along with internal systems.

• Assist in the financial setup of new partners, markets, and entities.

• Collaborate with Finance and the broader organization on cross-functional initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant finance experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial operations.

• Practical experience with month-end closing, invoicing, payments, settlements, reconciliations, and financial controls.

• Familiarity with local GAAP and IFRS regulations.

• Experience collaborating with external accountants and tax advisors across APAC markets.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.

• Knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, and AI tools.

• Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Confidence in directly engaging with partners, banks, and service providers.

• Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required.

• A background with Big 4 or audit firms is preferred.

• Experience with Payment Service Providers, banking, or payment operations is a plus.

• Familiarity with technology, marketplace, e-commerce, travel, or transaction-heavy businesses is preferred.

• Exposure to group reporting and European or international headquarters is advantageous.
