Senior FileMaker/Claris Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of software engineers.

• Establish standards for code quality, architectural design, agile timelines, and production rollouts.

• Design, optimize, and maintain intricate, multi-tenant FileMaker applications.

• Create and implement integrations between FileMaker and AWS serverless architectures.

• Collaborate with full-stack engineering teams utilizing JavaScript and contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Develop robust user interfaces and decouple legacy systems.

• Propel advanced database design and data modeling that connects FileMaker with PostgreSQL through Hasura.

• Identify and integrate AI tools and automated workflows.

• Enhance development processes, expedite data migration testing, and improve product capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mastery of the FileMaker platform at an expert level, encompassing complex scripting, advanced relational design, server management, and Data API use.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying serverless applications on AWS.

• Profound understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.

• Experience collaborating with full-stack engineering teams.

• Extensive background in building, consuming, and securing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Proven track record as a technical lead.

• Experience managing tight software development timelines.

• Experience driving complex integrations across various systems.

• Hands-on approach to exploring new technologies, including AI integration.

• Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours daily.

• Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours daily.
