This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of the brand’s visual strategy across designated districts.
• Advocate for visual merchandising as a key contributor to sales, margins, and inventory turnover.
• Enhance the effectiveness of game plans, brand standards, product flow, space planning, and seasonal product transitions.
• Analyze store KPIs and financial data to inform commercial decisions and recommendations.
• Develop merchandise presentations that align with brand standards, utilizing strong design principles and attention to detail.
• Facilitate effective seasonal product flow and address regional space limitations.
• Provide support to stores through classroom, virtual, and practical visual merchandising training.
• Mentor new managers and assist in CORE visual merchandising training initiatives.
• Strengthen field capabilities through focused training, coaching, sharing best practices, and reinforcing standards.
• Collaborate with partners to address specific visual merchandising challenges within stores.
• Offer field leadership and maintain visibility for documented, sustainable updates.
• Foster partnerships and align stakeholders to enhance brand positioning across districts.
• Assist with new concepts, growth strategies, new store openings, remodels, and concept evolution.
• Organize and coordinate game plans, transitions, launches, and new store initiatives.
• Convert visual direction into actionable plans through cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
• Tackle real-time challenges related to space, inventory, and operations while ensuring brand consistency.
• Utilize feedback, photographs, and business outcomes to enhance execution quality and market performance.
• Directly oversee, coach, and develop Field Visual leaders and Dedicated Store Visual Leaders.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, coaching, ongoing development, succession planning, and retention of field visual talent.
• Set expectations and priorities for accurate, consistent, and high-quality execution.
• Communicate visual standards, performance insights, and development priorities effectively.
• Reinforce accountability through coaching, validation of execution, and readiness planning.
• Oversee workloads and deliverables of direct reports.
• Provide timely and consistent feedback to direct reports.
• Drive talent selection and ensure comprehensive training and onboarding for direct reports.
• Candidates must be residents of Los Angeles or San Diego, CA.
• Associate's Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or Visual Merchandising is required.
• 7–10 years of management and visual merchandising experience, ideally in softlines.
• Proven understanding of customer and retail merchandising strategies.
• Capability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work independently, and remain adaptable.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding training and facilitation capabilities.
• Knowledge of customer service principles is essential.
• Ability to manage execution responsibilities and direct report workloads to meet deliverables on time and with quality.
• Capacity to provide timely and regular feedback that supports the development and growth of associates.
• Ability to establish succession plans with a 0–2 year timeline and secure Director support.
• Ability to meet proposed staffing objectives.
• Drive talent selection for open direct report positions.
• Ensure that direct reports receive adequate training and onboarding.
• Cameras must be turned on during virtual interviews.
• Use of AI tools is prohibited during any phase of the interview process.
