This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Provide daily clinical study support in the field for Transcatheter Mitral Valve and Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve clinical programs.
• Offer technical, educational, and case assistance to investigators, physicians, hospital staff, and personnel.
• Manage, coordinate, and train clinical study sites effectively.
• Conduct on-site educational sessions and consulting.
• Assist field personnel in achieving customer outcomes and service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement enrollment strategies.
• Engage in conventions, forums, and meetings to enhance product awareness.
• Provide support for customer cases and education alongside Therapy Development Management.
• Identify and promote growth opportunities with the Clinical Support Team.
• Act as a technical resource for Medtronic medical products and solutions.
• Aid in clinical study procedures and the preparation and support of Intrepid TMVR/TTVR devices.
• Troubleshoot devices and systems, and provide guidance on device suitability and patient selection.
• Offer support involving echocardiography, angiography, and CT imaging modalities.
• Deliver clinical-site feedback for engineering designs and product improvements.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and enrollment support with assigned sites.
• Establish connections with principal investigators, research coordinators, OR/Cath Lab staff, nursing units, decision-makers, and administrative personnel.
• Coordinate patient screening and enrollment materials with review committees and/or sponsors.
• Manage product shipping and returns in accordance with Medtronic policy.
• Assist in developing and delivering physician training materials, simulator and benchtop training, didactic sessions, and case studies.
• Educate and train customer sites through individual sessions, in-service programs, seminars, and symposiums.
• Provide training and resources for procedure certification and activation.
• Educate, mentor, and train internal Medtronic employees.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years of clinical support experience, or an associate degree with at least 6 years, or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of clinical support experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below the Principal level.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75%, including international travel and overnight stays.
• Preferred experience with echocardiographic imaging of the mitral and/or tricuspid valve.
• Preferred experience using CT segmentation and analysis software.
• Preferred experience with trans-septal procedures, including TMVR or LAAC.
• Clinical research experience, particularly in coordinating multi-center trials, is preferred.
• Preferred experience in presenting, writing, and teaching clinical and medical information.
• Experience with group presentations and interventional/surgical cardiac procedures is preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice and/or regulatory compliance guidelines is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, MS Project or similar scheduling software, and project management techniques and tools.
• Capability to work in Cath Labs or Operating Rooms with radiation exposure.
• Flexibility to conduct company business outside typical Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm hours.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Proficient in using computers and CT reconstruction programming.
• Willingness to travel extensively by car and plane.
• Ability to sit and stand for 8 hours a day.
• Capacity to wear a lead apron for an average of 2-3 hours.
• Ability to operate a moving vehicle.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the qualification must meet the requirements specified in 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
