This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Validate the installation of new Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments to ensure they meet Beckman Coulter and customer specifications.

• Collaborate with customer Key Operators during the validation process to reinforce training and confirm their preparedness.

• Address questions related to operation and performance in accordance with specifications and regulatory standards.

• Work in partnership with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

• Prepare customers for and execute instrumentation validation studies, which include instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.

• Offer both onsite and remote phone support for assay and QC-related inquiries.

• Conduct onsite training to ensure proper operation of instrumentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree with at least 3 years of combined experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or a related field.

• Strong understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare sector, with a significant focus on the laboratory regulatory landscape.

• Willingness to travel up to 95% by flying and/or driving, including overnight stays; primarily within the domestic sphere with occasional international travel.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, or position items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, as well as sit, squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs, and reach with hands and arms.

• A Bachelor's degree is considered an advantage.

• Experience in Medical Laboratory Science is a plus.

• Familiarity with standard laboratory management practices, such as quality control, record keeping, and regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, COLA), is advantageous.
