Senior Field Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Validate new installations of Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments to comply with Beckman Coulter and customer standards.

• Prepare customers and execute validation studies, which include instrument setup, calibration, precision assessments, and method comparisons.

• Collaborate with customer Key Operators throughout the validation process to strengthen training and ensure preparedness.

• Address questions related to operations and performance in accordance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Offer both onsite and remote phone assistance for inquiries related to assays and quality control.

• Conduct onsite training to ensure proper operation of instrumentation.

• Work in partnership with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree with at least 3+ years of combined experience in laboratory or diagnostic instrumentation, or a closely related field.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the diagnostics or healthcare sector, particularly focusing on the laboratory regulatory landscape.

• Willingness to travel up to 95% of the time, including overnight stays, whether by flying or driving.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, and/or place items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as to sit.

• Proficiency in squatting and kneeling, ascending and descending stairs, and reaching with hands and arms.

• A Bachelor's degree is advantageous.

• A background in Medical Laboratory Science is beneficial.

• Familiarity with standard laboratory management practices, including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, COLA), is a plus.
