Senior Field Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Validate the installation of new Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments to ensure compliance with Beckman Coulter standards and customer specifications.

• Prepare clients for and conduct instrumentation validation studies, which include instrument setup, calibration, precision assessments, and method comparisons.

• Work closely with customer Key Operators during the validation process to reinforce training and guarantee preparedness.

• Offer both onsite and remote phone assistance for customer inquiries related to assays and quality control.

• Deliver onsite training to ensure correct operation of the instrumentation.

• Address operational and performance inquiries in accordance with specifications and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

• Report to the Technical Applications Supervisor as part of the Field Applications Team within the North America Service Organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree with a total of 3+ years of experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or a related field.

• A strong understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry, particularly with a focus on the laboratory regulatory environment.

• Willingness to work remotely and travel domestically at least 95% of the time.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Previous experience in medical technology is advantageous.

• Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, COLA) is a plus.
