Senior Field Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers and FAEs throughout Turkey and Eastern Europe to assist key customers with the Renesas Analog & Power product lineup.

• Act as the liaison between customers and internal business units.

• Acquire new business through proactive design and development assistance.

• Lead and manage technology proposal and evaluation phases.

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers' applications.

• Cultivate customer relationships in collaboration with the Sales team.

• Advocate for analog, power, interface, power management, sensor, digital, and connectivity solutions.

• Offer technical expertise to enhance Renesas revenues alongside the Sales and Distribution Network.

• Drive and support projects from initial demand creation to mass production.

• Showcase products and assist with system-level design and detailed technical requirements.

• Identify new opportunities and achieve Design Win objectives.

• Create, organize, update, and monitor opportunities and designs.

• Comprehend customer products, markets, supply chains, and business needs, and communicate these internally.

• Observe customer competition and devise counter-strategies.

• Travel within the designated territory to engage with customers and distributors.

• Take ownership of business opportunities and advance them effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role is preferred.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

• Experience with Analog and Power Management applications is essential.

• Proven track record in building strong customer relationships.

• Basic understanding of MCU/MPU systems is advantageous but not necessary.

• Strong problem-solving abilities are crucial.

• Strategic and commercial thinking for effective design planning is essential.

• Capability to identify key projects and propose viable solutions.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Strong analytical skills are required.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency in English is necessary.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory is important.

• Technical skills and understanding of customer development processes and product lifecycle from development to mass production are required.
