Area Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide customer support through technical services in Hyderabad, Telangana APT.

• Install and maintain various instruments.

• Offer basic operational training during the installation process.

• Ensure that preventive maintenance planning and modifications are executed promptly.

• Seek timely assistance for challenging product issues to minimize unnecessary downtime.

• Maintain an inventory of recommended spare parts for the complete product range.

• Foster excellent customer relationships with assigned accounts.

• Comply with field service policies, procedures, and standards.

• Report directly to the State Service Manager for the APT region.

• Provide support to clients throughout the state.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an Engineering Graduate degree, specifically B.E./B.Tech.

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience is required.

• Experience in customer services (Technical) within the IVD industry is essential.

• Advanced technical expertise in one of the product lines in IVD products is required.

• Skills to assist and support technical troubleshooting in a consultative manner.

• Ability to implement corrective and preventive measures to enhance service delivery based on customer feedback.

• Experience in technical field services with IVD products (both hardware and software), along with advanced technical skills in one product line in IVD, is advantageous.

• Experience in generating service revenue is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for call handling and closure in systems is an added advantage.
