Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and efficiently.

• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.

• Engage in open and effective communication with customers to identify and resolve issues.

• Provide solutions utilizing training received from NCR Voyix.

• Represent the NCR Voyix brand and contribute to the smooth operation of global commerce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate residing in a specific geographic area.

• Authorized to work within the U.S.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet requirements.

• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to engage in prolonged travel, driving several hours per day.

• Availability for rotating and weekend shifts.

• Flexibility for shift work, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, with some holidays.

• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Proficient in bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes.

• Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of screening criteria relevant to the position.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, and N+ Certification are preferred.

• One or more years of related experience is preferred.
