This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical direction, oversight, and quality assurance to Facilities Program Specialists
• Act as an alternate task manager and supervise daily operations of the team
• Directly manage staff and lead site assessment efforts
• Organize pre- and post-monitoring tasks and deployments
• Create and maintain program monitoring schedules
• Report on monitoring status and suggest solutions for resource deficiencies to federal personnel
• Train and coach new employees
• Review monitoring reports, corrective actions, and deliverables prior to submission
• Foster professional development, process enhancement, and quality assurance
• Assess staff performance and offer training and feedback
• Complete performance improvement plans and annual evaluations
• Examine monthly reports and authorize consolidated reports
• Approve timecards, leave requests, proposed travel, and expense claims
• Develop program logic and assess the performance metrics for facility inspections and evaluations
• Coordinate, schedule, and document facility monitoring reviews
• Maintain organized records of inspections and communications
• Review inspection documentation in relation to building codes, life safety codes, licensing standards, and industry regulations
• Monitor and document corrective actions and evidence of closure
• Prepare technical summaries, monitoring reports, and briefing materials
• Analyze monitoring results to identify trends, recurring compliance challenges, and operational risks
• Keep monitoring artifacts in designated repositories like SharePoint
• Provide technical guidance and compliance assistance for care provider facilities, safety, and physical plant operations
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
• Seven years of relevant work experience
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating physical facilities and building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, per federal, state, and local standards and legal codes
• Experience in facilities management or building inspection
• Knowledge of permits, inspection reports, compliance evaluations, and service and maintenance records
• Existing MBI T2 Public Trust or the ability to obtain one
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to travel frequently to designated sites, up to 25% of the time
• Proficient in building inspections, construction, facility evaluations, and regulatory compliance
• U.S. citizenship is not a requirement
