This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee the delivery of facilities services for a designated portfolio of retail bank branches and cafes.
β’ Serve as the main client liaison for operational matters.
β’ Supervise facility managers in their daily operations, performance, maintenance, issues, and escalations.
β’ Track vendor management activities, changes in scope, and documentation of underperformance.
β’ Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems, security measures, point-of-sale equipment, ATMs, and other essential infrastructure.
β’ Design and execute programs and processes aimed at reducing operational costs and enhancing efficiency.
β’ Maintain adherence to health, safety, food safety, environmental, and risk management policies.
β’ Assist in compliance reviews, health inspections, audits, and training initiatives.
β’ Propel benchmarking, best practices, and continuous improvement efforts.
β’ Facilitate collaboration between facility managers and internal teams, and identify JLL subject matter experts.
β’ Cultivate and manage senior-level client relationships while ensuring contract obligations and KPIs are satisfied.
β’ Supervise operating budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, vendor payments, cost-saving initiatives, and contractual authority.
β’ Lead recruitment, coaching, mentoring, training, performance evaluations, and development planning for facility managers.
β’ Offer strategic guidance as a senior member of the facilities leadership team while exemplifying JLL's core values.
β’ A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
β’ Relevant certifications and industry designations are preferred (e.g., LEED, CFM, FMP, or certifications in food service/hospitality management).
β’ Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in a facility management setting, including at least 3 years managing other facility managers in retail, banking, or hospitality environments.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams and facility managers across various time zones and geographical regions.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 30% to visit locations within the portfolio and assist facility managers.
β’ Proficient in a variety of information technology tools and platforms.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills, especially in customer-facing situations.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with presentation abilities, particularly in interactions with senior client stakeholders.
β’ Proven track record in developing high-performing facility management teams and delivering exceptional internal and external customer service in retail or hospitality contexts.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
