Senior Experience Designer – Web/IVA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of projects from inception to delivery as a reliable individual contributor.

• Carry out tasks independently with minimal supervision.

• Implement design systems, components, patterns, tokens, variables, and responsive behaviors for Web and IVA experiences.

• Convert creative concepts into solutions that align with brand, technical, accessibility, regulatory, system, and business requirements.

• Work collaboratively with Art, Copy, Development, and fellow Experience Designers.

• Assess tradeoffs, address design challenges, integrate feedback, and make well-informed execution choices.

• Guide fellow Experience Designers through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and setting a strong example.

• Produce production-ready digital experiences from concept to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated sectors.

• Proven track record in designing digital experiences within established design systems.

• Strong grasp of component-based design, responsive behavior, reusable patterns, and system-driven execution.

• Comprehensive understanding of the connection between experience design and front-end development.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Over 6 years of experience in digital, motion, animation, or interactive design.

• Experience in designing HTML media banners in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.

• Background in contributing to or working with design systems.

• Experience collaborating across various functions with Art, Copy, Development, and other designers.

• Familiarity with optimizing creative for performance marketing goals.

• Advanced skills in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, libraries, variables, and design tokens.

• Capability to work effectively within shared, component-based Figma libraries and established design systems.

• Working knowledge of responsive design principles and front-end implementation.

• Understanding of digital accessibility standards.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, effective communication, and a sense of autonomous accountability.
