Senior EWM Techno-Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops that showcase SAP EWM processes while collecting warehouse and logistics requirements.

• Design, configure, and implement adaptable SAP EWM solutions.

• Execute comprehensive projects through functional design, SIT/UAT testing, training, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.

• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA modules, Global Trade & Services, and external systems.

• Configure inbound and outbound flows, warehouse structure, RF framework, LOSC/POSC, automation, HU management, and VAS/kitting.

• Create and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials for end-users.

• Collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements, interfaces, OData services, RF developments, and custom objects.

• Provide support for integrations and troubleshoot IDocs, qRFC, MFS, and EWM-related issues.

• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, contributing to solution architecture and delivery.

• Mentor junior consultants while offering ongoing support, training, and best-practice guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.

• Over 6 years of practical SAP EWM experience.

• Extensive hands-on SAP EWM configuration experience in inbound/outbound processes, internal movements, RF, VAS, LOSC/POSC, HU management, and kitting.

• Technical familiarity with ABAP debugging, enhancement framework, IDocs, qRFC, RF screen customization, and integration tools.

• Proficiency in developing and reviewing functional specifications, alongside collaboration with development teams.

• Strong grasp of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and automation systems.

• Experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA EWM in both embedded and decentralized settings.

• Understanding of SAP EWM best practices and industry standards.

• Capability to support system integration and resolve intricate technical and functional issues.

• Willingness to travel 20–40% according to project and client requirements.

• SAP EWM certification or formal SAP training is advantageous.

• Familiarity with SAP Logistics Execution or other SAP modules is a plus.

• Experience with decentralized EWM implementation alongside S/4HANA is a bonus.

• Knowledge of BTP is considered a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Spanish is preferred.

• MFS experience would be beneficial.

• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
