
Senior Events Specialist β Field Marketing, Tradeshows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop and manage Jane's field marketing initiatives.
β’ Organize and implement local events in conjunction with around 12β15 annual tradeshows.
β’ Ensure alignment of booth and field-event audiences, messaging, and objectives.
β’ Experiment with engagement concepts, activations, and scalable event formats.
β’ Create the annual field marketing strategy based on market density, focus areas, and strategic objectives.
β’ Set event goals and determine success indicators.
β’ Oversee comprehensive event execution, which includes creative concepts, venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, show flow, and onsite delivery.
β’ Manage pre-event audience targeting, messaging, invitations, and tests to drive attendance.
β’ Handle post-event follow-up, recap communications, and subsequent actions.
β’ Develop a unified visual identity for field marketing.
β’ Create engaging experiences for customers and prospects.
β’ Foster co-hosting opportunities with ambassadors, associations, and educational institutions.
β’ Convert strategic directives into actionable plans and make event-level decisions.
β’ Organize and manage exhibitor presence, including booth setup, staffing, materials, promotional items, product demonstrations, and onsite customer engagement.
β’ Coordinate staffing and ensure teams are adequately prepared.
β’ Oversee vendor coordination, shipping logistics, event calendars, run sheets, and timelines.
β’ Support overflow tradeshows and take complete ownership when assigned.
β’ Provide market-level insights and performance analysis for annual event planning.
β’ Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations.
β’ Maintain standardized reporting metrics on attendance, engagement quality, costs, leads, feedback, and budget performance.
β’ Prepare event program reports for leadership.
β’ Manage event technology platforms and collaborate with Marketing Operations on CRM tracking and lead transfer.
β’ Create planning tools and utilize AI or automation to enhance scalability.
β’ Design and conduct onboarding and training for new Events Specialists.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in experiential event marketing.
β’ Proven track record of managing brand-hosted or field marketing events, with a portfolio of 15+ industry tradeshows annually.
β’ Practical experience in executing exhibitor presence at tradeshows and conferences, including logistics and onsite management.
β’ Experience in designing event programs, setting goals, selecting markets, measuring success, and developing repeatable templates and playbooks.
β’ Strong financial skills and background in creating event budgets, negotiating with vendors, tracking forecasts against actuals, and conducting post-event reconciliations.
β’ Aptitude for representing events in cross-functional discussions, including with senior leadership.
β’ Knowledge of event and tradeshow performance metrics, such as leads captured, attendee engagement, cost per attendee, and cost per lead.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills and capability to manage changing plans.
β’ Commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in event experiences.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with teams and cross-functional partners.
β’ Comfortable using Slack, Google Workspace, Monday, and Notion.
β’ Must reside and work in Canada, eligible to work there without employer sponsorship.
β’ Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States approximately 30% of the time.
β’ Annual salary ranging from $84,800 to $132,500, with salary growth linked to experience and contributions.
